Great nib size
Purchased the medium nib to use with Platinum Chou Kuro ink for a sketching project. The ink flows well and not as thick as I thought for a medium nib which was a nice surprise. The line width for writing is also nice.

Great Little Planner Pen
I got this very reasonably priced pen in a Fine nib, and it lays a nice wet sharp line in my Hobonichi planner. It fits a Kaweco clip very nicely and with the clip, stays put in the pen holder of the planner. The nib is surprisingly smooth and pleasant to write with. This pen punches way above its weight!

In my top my three favourites mp's (modded)
First of all, I epoxy the small sliding sleeve mechanism to make it fixed sleeve. I absolutely love the grip, it's quite unique among mp's and feels very good. The weight and balance is great for using it during extended sessions. It's suitable for low grippers too, which I am. There is rattle from the inside tube moving against the body but it doesn't bother me and you could fix it with tape if you wanted to. The metal grip straight up just provides an excellent writing experience when it has a fixed sleeve, that I haven't been able to replicate with other mp's. I actually like the colour of the sky blue with silver grip one, better than this though.

One of my favorite inks!
I have tried both the manyo ink line and the yurameko ink line and I love them both. The Fuji is such a bright initial color and shades wonderfully with a broad nib. In my extra fine on Tomoe River paper it is a beautiful color. Super happy with it.

Sailor Manyo Fuji Ink
Best writing tool I've ever used
I did not expect the Sailor Pro Gear to be this good. Up until this point, my purple Nakaya was my gold standard (no pun intended). A few months ago, I got my hands on a bottle of Sailor Shikiori Irori and put it in an Esterbrook Estie, and I thought it was the most delightful red ink. Lately, I've come to appreciate Midori's notebook, which, for some reason, doesn't like my Nakaya pen much (it may be the Platinum blue ink, though). Enter the Sailor Pro Gear with Sailor Shikori Chushu ink on Midori paper, and you'll find a glorious cosmic alignment of "writing" planets. Yoseka Stationery packed the pen with unparalleled care and sent it my way in no time. Next on my list is to pay them a visit next time I am in Brooklyn.

Sailor Pro Gear Fountain Pen - Sapporo Snow Festival - Limited Edition
I love this Cherry Blossom ink. It's a bit darker than I expected but still lovely. It is a wet writing ink, so it's perfect in my preferrer EF nibs. The color reminds me alot of Kobe "Strawberry Chocolate" ink which isn't a bad thing.

Handsome teal-like color, 21k nib in medium fine- writes well and fits well in hand and is light to medium weight- great pen and Yoseka were quick and responsive.
