The second edition of the popular Bento Calendar brings the charm of Japanese bento culture to your desk. Bento is celebrated for its careful and curated appearance, while remaining a practical way to serve or pack a meal. A bento can contain vibrant colors, balanced nutrition, and the care and passion of its creators. 

This calendar features 12 types of bento lunchboxes, each based on authentic recipes supervised by Chef Masahiro Kasahara. Each month reveals new delicacies, with the menu listed on the back of the card and full recipes accessible via a QR code. The 12-month calendar is housed in a pulp-molded box designed to resemble a traditional lunch box, making it both practical and delightful. The recipes are taken from Japanese Bento Lunchboxes from Japanese Restaurants: Delicious Lunchboxes You’ll Want to Eat Every Day by Sachiko Horie.
