Slim, useful
This is a slim, useful notebook with smooth paper and a pretty pink cover. The cover is textured, uncoated paper. It feels good to the touch (not a fakey-plastic feel).

I love this washi tape so much! It is very thin and the parts between the pandas and at the cut edges just disappear into the paper. The pandas themselves are absolutely adorable!

A Thing of Beauty
While I do like the pen's feedback, the beautiful Maki-e cherry blossoms were my primary reason for purchasing the pen. I also like the traditional gold nib on this pen. The pen does write a little dry, so, I am considering have the pen customized to write wetter, but I do not regret purchasing the pen, as this pen is truly beautiful.
