Great colors, smooth ink. I am surprised by how much I love the color of the orange ink as it is not a color I often go for. The orange ink looks more copper-orange than fruit orange.

Faber Castell refills are excellent. I use them for my more expensive ballpoint pens that take Parker refills. These are more versatile than my other favorite which is the caran d ‘ache.

This pen writes beautifully. It immediately became my favorite pen. Am I a child? Nope. But I do have small hands so this fits perfectly in my gnome-esque tiny hands. It’s smooth, and I’ve already purchased refills. I also love regular fountain pens, but this is just perfect for daily use.

Gorgeous pen, beautiful writer
I am old. I own a lot of fountain pens. I am not easily impressed. But this pen is simply delicious! The attention to detail is notable. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it is well balanced and a pleasure to write with. But on top of that, the presentation and packaging took my breath away. I have never seen such a beautiful box, and the enclosures with it are charming and delightful. I actually put them into my Hobonichi to keep. The tines on the nib were a bit tight, which is not unusual, and flossing them with a brass sheet was enough to make this a perfect writer. I could not be more pleased.
