Simple and beautiful
I have a few similar items but this one is very clear and crisp. It doesn't distort text and is helpful when trying to read old hand written documents. It isn't completely flat and doesn't bend but it sits neatly in a cup with my pencils and highlighters. It doesn't pick up fingerprints much but also wipes clean easily and seems to be holding up to scratches so far

I use this with the Ohto mini pen (attached via cardholder), and even together they're small enough to fit into any pocket! the grid makes it easy to stay organized and the hard cover & stitch binding reassure me that it will last with use.

Small but mighty
I was hesitant to spend so much on a mini, but as the proud human of a mini panther, I caved. And I am so glad I did. The medium Sailor nib is now my favorite. This pens about the perfect size for a smaller pen for my hand; it's barely long enough to be comfortable unposted, and when posted it feels like holding a normal sized pen.
It's a beautiful dark, dark, dark burgundy. The nib and engraving are super cute. I typically prefer a heavier pen (VP is my favorite, FWIW), but I really like the feel of this in my hand, even moreso than my full sized PGS.
And, of course, I get to carry around a little trinket that reminds me of my own magical cat. What more can you ask for?
