Beautiful Pen, Soothing Elegant Design
Beautiful pen; the gold accents and (very) subtle glittering coloring on the barrel play wonderfully off each other. Usual outstanding Sailor craftsmanship and a gorgeous nib.
Like similar pens from Sailor it is not a heavy pen nor a particularly large one. I have quite large hands, though, and I find it comfortable and satisfying to write with.

I was lucky to finally get this little gem. The quality is what you expect from Superior Labor. The added touch of the stamped design is really nice but the butterfly pen closure makes this a more practical option to help keep your book closed and pen handy.

Don't Trust Pictures!
I was super excited when I saw that Platinum did another store exclusive 3776 for the US following Goulet Pens in 2016 since we don't get these cool limited versions in the US unlike Japan. I proceeded to order one in fine immediately.
I was massively disappointed when I saw the pen in the Youtube video that Yoseka did. My original thoughts were that the inspiration and colorway was neat and unique. I didn't have negative thoughts on the color unlike others but what really let me down was that other than the unique colorway, there was nothing else special about the pen distinguishing it from others. I was like where was the special engravings on the nib? Where was the unique cap center band? Normally in other store exclusive 3776s especially in Japan you see really unique colorways, unique cap center bands and cool or cute nibs and that is what makes those pens collectable and special. This one felt really bland.
After receiving the pen I didn't really mind it being plain much. The pen truly does need to be seen in person to those that do not like the color. It looks very differently then what you see in the photos. It is definitely green.
To those thinking about buying the pen. If you want to support Yoseka and score a unique colorway then get one but if you are looking for a super collectable or special 3776 then this is not the one for you since it lacks in the "special" department.

I love this planner - the cover and pages are of excellent quality. The calendars include a year across two pages, which so many other types of calendars do not. There is ample space for notes and the entire thing easily fits in a purse or big pocket. I think I have found a new addiction.
