Great Beginner Pen
This pen is so cute and easy to use. It is very lightweight and writes well. I love how it has a little face so you know which way you need to hold the pen. This is my first fountain pen and I'm glad to have found an adorable pen series.

So smooth
The TWSBI Eco is my second fountain pen after a friend gifted me a Kaweco Sport. I wanted to explore fountain pens using a piston mechanism for ink rather than a cartridge, and I was happy to find the Eco easy to use, beautiful in appearance, and very smooth to write with. The body of the pen is a bit heavy but I personally like that, although I imagine it would be challenging to write with for one with smaller hands.

Beautiful Pen
I love this pen! It writes smoothly and has a great weight. It looks sleek. I wish I had found the Kaweco Student pen sooner because I would have bought every color way. Now, most are sold out. I love the retro look so much that I bought three. I received two so far and I'm excited for the third one to arrive.

My Third Kakimori nib, all in heavy rotation.
I love Kakimori nibs for ink swatches and samples. This is my third one. I have a brass and another stainless one. You can swatch large areas of ink as well as just using the tip for writing. I've used glass pens and dip pens but with this, I just need one. I take this to pen club to try new inks; no need for Q-tips and a dip pen. I have a Kakimori holder and a custom one from River City Pens, this fits in those. I also put one of these versatile nibs into a vintage pen with a cap for on the go. Highly recommend!

This is my fourth year using the Techo A5 planner and my second ordering from Yoseka. As I'm upstate NY they're about as local as I can get for this kind of upper crust stationery. Hate to admit it but all four years Hobonichi has absolutely been worth the price. Takes all inks well, holds up to stickers and tapings and pastings and whatever else you'd care to slap on a page that isn't writing. Has dopey sayings running along the bottom to engage the brain. Sturdy, well-made, can operate on its own or with all the covers and other accessories. Not gone down in quality like so much else in the era of supply chains and tariffs. Yoseka always packages very tidily and throws a goodie or two in. I recommend.

excellent kraft paper!
This refill is the perfect size to fit in my shirt pockets and of course my passport traveler's note book, the kraft paper takes drawing tools pretty well and I'm excited to journal in it.
The kraft paper is of such a good quality that there's barely and spots or inclusions of darker material or odd strands in the paper surfaces that you sometimes see with kraft paper, it's pretty well a homogenous brown paper. but this does mean that the few times there is a blemish it is more noticeable on the page, Not holding it against it but may be something to consider if you're buying

perfect size!
a sweet mid sized notebook, plain cover i will place it in a decorative cover for carrying -nice paper for all types of writing instruments, but i do love my gel and fountain pens!

I was thinking about getting a dot grid instead of this one, but I'm glad I stuck to this decision. I don't really want to be hunched over my desk drawing grids needlessly.
