I have two Sailor pens with fine nibs and while I personally love the feedback of them, I was looking for another pen that is smoother. Being left handed, I needed a pen with a fine or extra fine nib and quick drying ink, so I chose the Pilot E95s with the extra fine nib. I was worried that it would have even more feedback than the Sailors, but to my surprise, it has less feedback. What little feedback it does have is sublime! This is definitely my best writing pen! I love it and Yoseka Stationary is top notch and the shipping is really fast!

I bought this to get into Sailor after falling in love with a Lecoule. It took a few days to get used to or 'break in" and I think I will keep it inked and use it every day for and extra fine. And it is extra extra fine. Perfect for me. It is a little small for my hand. So I have to have it posted to write comfortably, over long periods. Nicole at Yoseka help me and she was so nice and had a lot of insight. Thank you

I got the Golden Pheasant in a Medium nib and it is better than I expected. It is heavier than most Japanese pens due to the internal metal barrel but I love that because it feels expensive. The nib is smooth and wet and its line width is surprisingly more in line with a Western Medium rather than a Japanese Medium. I held off buying this pen for months due to the cost but now that I have it, I have no regrets. I feel like I've gotten a real work of art.

Zebra always is my top choice. This gen pen, made of metal, magnetically attaches to the included book clip. Perfect for easy access without fumbling in your pocket, purse, bag, or pen loop that won't cooperate. Get one of these, or the cheaper, non metal one and you will not regret it. (It's also fun to fidget with the magnetic attaching/detaching)
