Perfect Match to NEW Kaweco Shadow Blue
I didn't have any ink to match the new Kaweco Sport Shadow Blue and this teal pigment-shimmer (yes, you read correctly). The 1-2 punch of pigment AND shimmer can be polarizing. It's hard to get both right! The lubrication in this ink is great and the shimmer distribution is even. I got a nib and it's flowing just fine. I filled an empty Kaweco cartridge with the ink. I've read that cleaning isn't an issue even though it's a pigment (water-resistant) ink. I tested the water-resistance property and can say it holds up. I'm very impressed with the ink and it will likely be the only one I use in this Kaweco Shadow Blue pen! The shimmer is subtle and will be my current everyday blue ink for the next few months. If you are looking for a match to the new Kaweco Shadow Blue, this is the one and if you are a fan of teal inks, this is a MUST HAVE in your collection for its unique pigment-shimmer properties.

Very compact, great quality
Really beautiful slim notebook, it's hard to find compact binders especially in A5 size. I love the no clasp slim profile for throwing in my work bag. Its very compact so doesn't fit side tabs very well but it's perfect for my needs and I don't mind them poking slightly. Comes with enough inserts to get started, though I use my own.
The only thing is the ring mechanism is a bit generic feeling on the A5 compared to the other sizes, but they open and close nicely still. No gapping after a few months of use. Overall highly recommend, hopefully Yoseka restocks more Raymay Davinci binders!! Would love to grab another in black.

Everybody talks about LAMY, So I need to try it. Wel I have a LAMY AL STAR Rollerskate - Special Edition 2026
Well, it is so pretty, Nice color combination. Aluminum cap and barrel. A translucent nib holder. I appreciate the fact that it is not rouund at all, has two flat sides so the pen does not rolls around when placed down on a flat surface, Cap clip is fancy. The flat side has a window where you can see the ink level. I love that it is not heavy on my hand. Is ergonomic in the grip. Has a large ink cartridge with a good amount of ink.
The writing.... is smooth comparable with others. I bought the Fine Nib. Could be the every day pen. I like lightweight pens. I can trust in this pen. Hope serves me many years.
Now I know in my own experience what a LAMY is. Everybody loves the smooth writing and lightweight. I think that the price is secondary if the writing pleases you. This LAMY
is affordable and pleases my writing and adds a touch of collector item because is a special edition.

This pen is a little shorter and lighter than my Esties, but feels just as wonderful in the hand. I got it with the scribe nib, which took a little practice to get comfortable with, but is a super fun change of pace from standard nibs!
