This is the decorated version of the Cover on Cover, an optional, extra covering that fits select Hobonichi Techo covers (for A6 size) to protect them from wear and tear while instantly giving solid-color covers a fresh new look. (Not for use directly on plain planner books.)

In order to preserve the design of this illustrated Cover on Cover, there is no opening located in the back to access the back pocket of the cover.

Dotted Plaid, designed by art director Yoshie Watanabe, features evenly spaced dots arranged to resemble a classic plaid pattern. The dots are silkscreen printed in four colors—white, green, blue, and pink—creating a fresh, playful design that complements and brightens any Hobonichi Techo cover you pair it with.

About Yoshie Watanabe:

Yoshie Watanabe is a Japanese art director, graphic designer, and illustrator. After working at design firm DRAFT, she co-founded the creative studio KIGI with Ryosuke Uehara in 2012. She’s designed products for D-BROS as well as textiles for the fashion brand CACUMA. Known for her delicate, poetic art, she is also an acclaimed illustrator of picture books such as Brooch and UN DEUX, and has received major honors.
