About Yoseka Stationery

Yoseka Stationery was founded in 2017 with the goal of introducing the culture of Asian stationery to an audience in the United States and globally. Yoseka exists to create a space where people can discover and share with others what they love about stationery and how it inspires them. Yoseka is here to bring people closer to stationery and to their own creativity. Today, we serve our customers through our online store, our in-person store, events, and through digital content creation.

Content Creator

Starts at $55K/year salary, Full Time Position (Tuesday to Saturday)

As the Content Creator at Yoseka Stationery, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating content on Yoseka social media platforms, website and through Yoseka's newsletter. This role involves working with members across all teams to deliver the most relevant content and messages to Yoseka's audience. As the Content Creator at Yoseka Stationery, you'll be a key member of our team, shaping the voice and visual presence of our brand online, and help us stay connected with customers and the wider stationery community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with founders to ensure posts are aligned with the voice of Yoseka
  • Develop, write, and edit content for social media, website, newsletter and blog following branding guidelines
  • Conduct stationery deep-dives and research to create analytical and interesting videos for the existing stationery community
  • Ideate and create content to increase Yoseka brand awareness and promote stationery as a hobby
  • Create a content posting calendar
  • Maintain content benchmarks
  • Work closely with Product team to create content aligned with new product launches and releases
  • Coordinate with Storefront team to create content featuring Yoseka store
  • Coverage of Yoseka Land events and coordinating with Events team to promote Yoseka Land events 
  • Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Stay updated on digital trends, emerging platforms and creative best practices
  • Assist with community engagement by responding to comments, messages and customer feedback

Required Skills

  • Experience with content creation and posting on social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Proficiency with photo and video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
  • Passion for and knowledge of stationery and stationery brands carried at Yoseka
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 1+ years professional experience in content creation for e-commerce store

Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager

Starts at $55K/year salary, Full Time Position (Monday to Friday)

The Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring efficiency across all warehouse operations from order fulfillment to product receiving and customer service. This role requires developing a deep knowledge and understanding of all Yoseka warehouse processes, and therefore will involve a significant amount of initial shadowing and working with the current Operations Manager. As the Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager at Yoseka, you will work closely with multiple team leads everyday to reduce errors, increase efficiency, and remove blockers across all warehouse processes in order to achieve our mission on a daily basis. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with fulfillment, product and customer service teams to maintain benchmarks and reduce errors
  • Conduct daily check-in meetings with each team/team lead to stay appraised of all company-wide activities 
  • Approve warehouse staff schedule
  • Coordinate with product team on receiving shipments, overstock management and aging inventory
  • Optimize warehouse layout for greater efficiency
  • Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance
  • Ideate and implement process changes to increase benchmarks
  • Communicate across teams
    • Work with Product team to ensure accurate data and smooth intake of new SKUs
    • Coordinate with Customer Service team to resolve fulfillment-related issues

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Warehouse experience in e-commerce fulfillment environment
  • Leadership experience
