Made in collaboration with OHTO, this Yoseka Green GS01 comes in a sleek polished body with the silver logo tastefully printed near the clip. In 2000, OHTO's Needlepoint pen was one of the first needle point pens in the world. OHTO has been a leading innovator for Japan's ballpoint pens, dating back to the first "Made in Japan" ballpoint pen in 1949. The Needlepoint has been a crowd favorite for its satisfying and unique knock design. When the original version was discontinued, many stationery lovers were disappointed, until OHTO brought the pen back with the GS01. After all these years, OHTO GS01 continues to be a staple for a quick and sturdy ballpoint pen, and the interchangeable refills are sure to keep this pen writing for many years to come.
OHTO Horizon Ballpoint GS01 is the combination of the body from OHTO's popular Horizon Needlepoint with the ballpoint refill from OHTO Rays Gel Pen. The aluminum metal body smoothly transitions from round tip to hexagonal top, and the fine tip glides smoothly when writing. Since it's a needle tip, the ballpoint almost looks and feels like writing with a 0.5mm fine gel pen. The pen has a nice weight in the hand, but it's not too heavy. Unlike the original Horizon Needle Point, this ballpoint version does not come with a button on the side to retract the tip. Overall, the pen writes well and looks professional.
