Happy 2025! We're Back From Break!

I like this pen a lot. I have been wanting a fountain pen for a while and this was an affordable way to satisfy that itch. I enjoy writing with this as well.
This is a diamond in the rough ... full Stop. This pencil construction is without peer ... full Stop ... and only at $1.00 per pencil is crazy cheap. The graphite I keep coming back too, as it's perfect ... full Stop. It is in my top 3 of all my pencils -- see photo attached ... full stop. Don't buy these ... so I may buy more as needed. I probably have about 3 dozen in my Y2K supply ... full Stop.
swatching the ink - it's very rich...like a brown w/some green shimmer. In my Kakimori amber - it writes much lighter. A golden/ bronze - that's easily legible. the shimmer even shows up with the fine nib. Nice flow more wet than dry, but not super wet. rather intriguing ink.
The color and sheen is beautiful, sheen shows in extra fine nibs
This book is just a little smaller than A5 and very slim so it fits perfectly into my A5 planner, and goes with me everywhere my planner goes to take notes on ongoing projects. 10 stars!
Love this little pen. Writes so smooth and feels comfortable in your hand. Love the colors too.
Absolutely perfect! I’ve been looking into a hobonichi techo for some time, and with a trip to Japan coming up, finally decided to splurge! I can’t wait to use the notebook to collect stamps at the train stations and journal my experience. As a one piece fan too, I love the details in the design of this cover—it’s so hard to find minimalist anime March, but they knocked it out of the park with this one. So excited to enjoy this for years to come!
I like to put a notebook inside this and then fill the pockets with stickers and sticky notes
The color is lovely, and as pictured on Yoseka’s website. This ink works so well in a variety of pens—it makes scratchy dry pens seem smooth and nice pens divine. I have so many inks but I find myself using this one whenever I can.
I'm in love with this cover! The color and quality are amazing.
I'm using this to organize small stickers. It also fits standard Instax photos.
Wow, the subtle variation the grey-blue tones in this ink are wonderful, it really looks like water. the small amount of pink (very subtle) that comes through with heavy pooling is just amazing. strong example of an ink with great shading that is understated and not too flashy.
This ink is dry! it was kind of borderline scratchy in a lamy 2000 fine / pilot medium nib, but putting it in my safari medium is compensates for the dry flow and writes and shades beautifully.
Really makes me want to try more dominant industry inks, glad to know they can perform well with the right nib and not only in glass pens.
