MD Notebook - A5 - Grid

MD paper is always great. Handles ink and even light watercolor. It is not overly thin or smooth like other fountain pen papers. The books are also well made and will hold up when traveling. The grid on this particular one is good, I use mine as a line for writing since its very compact for small handwriting, but it's light enough that you can also ignore and draw or freewrite instead.

I bought this notebook to try out MD paper. I was worried I would have my usual notebook paralysis, but after a few test pages, I could not resist writing in it. I love the look of my fountain pen inks on its pages. The paper does have some show-through, but a dark-colored pencil board solved that problem right away. I highly recommend trying it out for yourself!

If you’re looking for a good size notebook, this is a great one for a planner. With planner season high in session, I need something that can just be a monthly, gantt chart and for habit tracking. However, I want the freedom to have space to write.

Deciding on a notebook was a tough decision but after setting it up, I do like this notebook especially. There’s just enough grid space to fit a full month of habit tracking. Also, it’s off-white page color is very comfortable visually, so I can work throughout the day.

I can also swap from any pen and fountain pens, without the worry of bleed through.

I love taking notes in this book! The highlight for me is the quality of the paper, it handles a variety of inks from my various fountain pens wonderfully.
