Fonte Glass Dip Pen Body

Fonte Pen was first released in February 2019 in Japan by Nippon 日本出版販売株式会社 under the brand "Hmmm!?STATIONERY", now under Komamono Lab. It comes in clear body so that the color of the ink on the tip can be the focus; and the word "Fonte" comes from Italian word for "spring", with the image of ink gushing out from the nib just like a fountain. The pen gained popularity in Japan in 2019 as a starter fountain pen, and in 2022 Nippon released additional tip options such as brush, rollerball and glass nib for different ink users. The pen is a rebranded model of Jinhao 992 with a snap cap, and it's great for trying out different inks!

Excellent!

The glass nib is beautiful, well made, and inexpensive. It writes a little broader than you might think but I generally prefer at least a medium nib. The glass nib end is a little heavier than the empty body making it seem off balance in the hand. I plan to fill the barrel with some gemstone chips for fun and added weight.

Baby’s first glass dip pen!

I have been wanting a glass tip pen but I am very scared of shattering the whole thing, then I saw these affordable glass nibs on plastic pen barrels! It has been a great little pen, fun to use and my husband even asked for his own!
