Sun-Star is a Japanese stationery company that was founded in 1940 with the goal of making stationery for students, but after they began releasing products, quickly became known for their innovative and original takes on previously existing products, particularly pencil cases. After their acquisition by Bandai in 2013, in 2020, they released the Ninipie, and have since been bringing their unique ideas to the world of pens.
