The Shachihata Make Your Color Stamp Pad lets you personalize your own stamp pad for a unique print each time. To use, pick the ink refill colors you would like to add to the blank stamp pad. Start by dropping one ink color on the pad in your desired design or gradient. Use the spatula included with the ink refill to press the color into the stamp pad. Be sure not to skip this step, as pressing the ink in will make sure the color is in the proper place, and also help the ink penetrate beyond the surface layer of the stamp. Press down between colors to blend and create a smooth gradient. Repeat these steps with each color until the whole stamp pad is filled just the way you want. To finish, the pad comes with a blank label for you to swatch your unique ink pattern creation!

Your Own Unique Design!

Absolutely love this whole system! So many possibilities, the only limit is your imagination! So many pre-fab ink pads have set, basic colors - but this lets you create your very own! The variation, different colors available - one of my absolute best purchases ever! This has opened a whole new world of stamps and inks for me!

A lot of fun

It's a lot of fun to make your own multicolored ink pads and to use them on favored and large stamps. The rainbows that come out from the personalized color combos are a delight and really add a lot of pop and fun to the image. I'd buy more if I could just for dabbling with.
