Today we are featuring Nakamura Printing x Kleid Flat Notes. Nakamura Printing is a family business started in 1938. Being in a declining industry, Nakamura Printing has been trying out different ways to create new notebooks. In 2014, they came up with a new way of notebook binding to allow every page of the notebook to open flat. Normally, to achieve opening completely flat, notebooks are made with multiples of tiny bundles of paper, which are also known as signatures. Hi everyone! Soraya here. I've been spending so much time decorating letters and packing orders with washi tape these last few weeks. There's something so peaceful about picking a washi, ripping a piece off, and gently setting (and resetting!) it onto a surface.
