We've been getting many questions about Hobonichi and it's understandably so! There are so many changes this year and we hope to be able to clear up any confusion here so you can make the best decision for yourself when it's time to order on August 31 at 10 PM.
Q: Are Hobonichi covers only available in a set this year with the books?
A: Yes, this year, Hobonichi covers are only available in a set with the planner books.
- A5 covers will come with the English Cousins
- A6 covers will come with the English Original Techo (cream colored cover).
In every product listing, you can check the full product title and check for the words "Book & Cover" to confirm it is a set item. The price listed includes both the book and the cover.
Q: Are Hobonichi planner books available on their own?
A: Yes! If you are only interested in a book (no cover), you can still purchase just the book. For example:
Q: Will Yoseka have the Junji Ito - Tomie collection?
A: No.
Q: Will Yoseka have the Moomin collection?
A: No.
Q: Will Yoseka have the One Piece collection?
A: Yes, the One Piece collection items release later on October 1.
Q: Is the Hobonichi Jetstream pen or Robot paperweight available when I order through Yoseka?
A: No, unfortunately, these are only reserved for orders through Hobonichi directly.
Q: When can I order my 2026 Hobonichi and when will my order ship?
A: Online, you can order from August 31 at 10PM Eastern Time. Your order will ship as soon as possible. If we receive our shipment of planners in time, our goal is to have all orders shipped out within one week. If there are delays, we will send updates via email and post updates to the website.
Q: If I order for local pickup, when will be my order be ready?
A: It's best to wait for the "Ready to Pickup" notification before heading to our shop to pick up your order, but we hope to have local pickup orders ready within one week.
Q: Can I shop in person for the planners on September 1?
A: UPDATE 8/31/25: Due to a delay with customs, our Hobonichi shipment has not arrived yet and we will not have them in-person for the release. Read more here.
