Yu-Sari Notebook - A5. These all-purpose notebooks boast premium quality paper that complements fountain pen or rollerball ink with an ultra-smooth texture and quick drying properties. The paper is thick and eggshell colored so your text will be beautiful and prominent.

The colors of the covers correspond to the type of paper that's inside. Brown contains "point" paper, which includes subtle 12x15 divisions on the page. Black contains 8mm ruled paper. Blue contains grid paper. Orange contains plain paper.

    A fountain pen user review

    This notebook is thick! I didn’t measure it when I first received it, but after using it for a semester (no stickers, no additions, just opening and closing and writing in it), the binding is 11mm compared to the description’s stated 4mm.

    The paper in the blue grid notebook is a beautiful cream color with light grey grid lines. Fountain pen inks showed a teensy bit of shading, did not feather, and dried quickly, which was great for me as a lefty. However, I found that with higher feedback or finer nibs (Pilot stainless CM and F), ink sometimes had trouble getting onto the page. I’d then use the pen on Tomoe River paper and ink flow would be fine. It might just be me! Or the particular inks I had in my pens! Who knows 🤷‍♀️

    Still, this is a lovely notebook! That I’m sure will be completely perfect for non-fountain-pen users and for fountain pen users who use primarily smooth, soft, or broader nibs.
