Vinta Inks - Original - Sea Kelp (Leyte 1944) - 30 mL
The Battle of Leyte Gulf was where the Japanese were ultimately defeated at the end of WWII. Leyte is also one of the country's largest producers of kelp, particularly in areas like Dawahon Island, which has been dubbed the "Seaweed Capital of Eastern Visayas." The province also has a history of community-based seaweed farming efforts, such as those in Calag-itan, where a marine sanctuary was established, and seaweed cultivation became a key source of income.
This ink has a muted brownish green base, evoking the color of kelp drifting through the bright, clear waters of Leyte.
