The Superior Labor - Tochigi Leather Pull-Up - Magnetic Pen Clip

Crafted from premium Tochigi Leather Pull-Up, this pen holder is made from vegetable-tanned leather that is slowly tanned using natural tannins and richly infused with oil. As the leather bends, the oil naturally shifts beneath the surface, creating the signature pull-up effect with subtle lighter tones. Finished with a thin resin coating, the leather has a smooth, supple feel and develops a rich patina with everyday use.

Designed with two hidden magnets inside, it securely attaches to notebook covers, even thicker ones, without the need for clips or adhesive. The strong magnetic hold also allows it to be attached to jackets, bags, or other fabric items, making it a practical everyday accessory with a refined leather finish.

Founded by former auto mechanic and leather artisan Makoto Kawai, this lifestyle brand crafts a variety of high-quality everyday tools that promote slow and intentional living. Kawai considers The Superior Labor as a natural extension of his experience working with cars, crafting leather goods, traveling, and curating vintage wares. All of The Superior Labor’s design and manufacturing takes place in a former elementary school campus in the rural and mountainous area of Kaga-gun, Okayama Prefecture, where Kawai lives and works.
