This handcrafted clip pen holder keeps your essential writing tools ready whenever inspiration strikes. The custom solid brass clip attaches securely to your notebook or planner without leaving marks, and the two leather loops add smart versatility—one sized for a standard pen, the other slightly wider for a thicker pen, highlighter, or marker.

Tochigi is a pit-tanned nubuck leather. Pit tanning is an ancient method of slowly tanning leather using vegetable tannins. The leather is soaked in a tank-like "pit" and meticulously finished over a period of several weeks to several months. It takes time, but the leather is strong and resilient, and the more it is used, the more it develops its patina and a deeper character. Tochigi removes the looser outer fibers and retains only the dense core of the hide, resulting in leather that is exceptionally durable. Over time, it ages beautifully, developing a warm patina that reflects your journey.
