Takeo Paper Products - Mottainai Memo - Lezac 96 Orihime

"Mottainai" originally means "what a waste!" in Japanese, but soon became a popular expression reminding people to cherish and upcycle natural resources or products before they go to waste. The Mottainai Memo is inspired by this concept, and with that in mind, a collection of discontinued but beautifully produced paper had then been curated by Takeo Paper Products. Each memo block contains three types of fine paper, and is being produced in limited quantities due to their availability on the market. 

The Lezac 96 Orihime paper was released in 1996. This paper recreates the coarse, textured feel of traditional Japanese woven fabrics.
