Takeo Paper Products - Mottainai Memo - Assorted 21
"Mottainai" originally means "what a waste!" in Japanese, but soon became a popular expression reminding people to cherish and upcycle natural resources or products before they go to waste. The Mottainai Memo is inspired by this concept, and with that in mind, a collection of discontinued but beautifully produced paper had then been curated by Takeo Paper Products. Each memo block contains three types of fine paper, and is being produced in limited quantities due to their availability on the market.
The Assorted 21 collection includes three paper textures: Tamashiki, a beautiful Japanese-style paper featuring a watermark of scattered beads; Ingres Color, modeled after the textured painting paper favored by the French painter Ingres; and French Marble, inspired by natural stone from France, featuring subtle colors and random patterns that highlight its depth.
- 150 sheets (50 sheets x 3 types)
- Dimensions: 3.5 x 3.5 x 0.95 in (90 x 90 x 24 mm)
- Materials: Tamashiki - Yellow, Ingres Color - White, and French Marble - Sunset

Aiming to share the craftsmanship of high-quality Japanese paper, they have spent years developing numerous types of paper for different purposes, including writing, printing, or home decor. I love everything about these memo pads, they're elegant and the packaging itself is very nice too. It sits pretty on my desktop, I love shopping at Yosekka Stationery!
