Takeo Paper Products - Mottainai Memo - Assorted 05.
"Mottainai" originally means "what a waste!" in Japanese, but soon became a popular expression reminding people to cherish and upcycle natural resources or products before they go to waste. The Mottainai Memo is inspired by this concept, and with that in mind, a collection of discontinued but beautifully produced paper had then been curated by Takeo Paper Products. Each memo block contains three types of fine paper, and is being produced in limited quantities due to their availability on the market.
The Assorted 05 collection contains three paper textures: Tamashiki Kika paper is a Japanese-style paper with chrysanthemum patterned watermarks. Take Aya GA paper has the soft, downy texture of young bamboo. Bill Color paper is released in 1969 and it is specially made to reproduce the texture of woven cloth through embossing.
