Inspired by the aurora borealis, this sixth edition limited notebook is expressed in two colors, Aurora White and Aurora Green. It features a paper cloth cover with a polarizing pearl finish that shifts in color depending on the angle of light and its surroundings, evoking the ever-changing glow of the northern lights.

"What should have been, is," is the motto of Stalogy, which is a combination of the words Stationery, Standard and Technology. Their motto is embossed in gold along the left hand side of the notebook, and the below paragraph, elaborating on the company's design concept, is printed on the notebook's yellow belly band packaging.

"The link between stationery and people began when people first used a stick to draw on the ground. That link, time and again, has continued to evolve along with the evolution of people. However, its intended purpose has never changed, and continued to exist today. We are now rethinking this evolution. Eliminating unnecessary ornamentation and function, we are taking a new look at what's really necessary, rediscovering essential elements and aiming to finally arrive at what should have existed all along. What should have been, is."

True to this philosophy, the Editor’s Series features a clean, minimal design with a flexible cover and refined gold detailing along the spine. Inside, smooth, thin paper is printed with a subtle 4mm light grey grid, offering an enjoyable writing experience while keeping the notebook slim and lightweight. Each page includes faintly printed months, days, and dates at the top, along with a vertical timeline from 0 to 24 along the margin, allowing it to function seamlessly as both a notebook and a planner. With 192 pages, this 1/2 Year notebook offers the same thoughtful layout in a lighter, more compact format.
