About Umao:
Umao is an illustrator based in Tokyo and a graduate of Kyoto Seika University’s Faculty of Design. Since 2016, she has been active across various media, including books, advertisements, and web projects. Her first collection of works, DAISUKI, was published in December 2022. She regularly holds solo exhibitions, showcasing a distinctive worldview shaped by her love for animals and ultramarine blue. Her warm, blue-toned artworks featuring adorable animals gently touch the hearts of those who view them.
