Inspired by auspicious patterns cherished in Japan since ancient times, the popular No. 11 (A7) combines crisp white covers with sophisticated Japan Blue. Choose from four designs, each with its own meaningful story: Seigaiha, whose overlapping waves symbolize peace and lasting happiness; Asanoha, inspired by the vigorous growth of hemp and associated with health and protection from illness; Ichimatsu, whose continuous pattern represents prosperity and continuity; and Yagasuri, an arrow-feather motif symbolizing determination and the drive to move toward one’s goals.

Inside, Rhodia’s smooth vellum paper provides an excellent writing experience with a wide range of writing instruments, while the special blue 5 × 5 mm grid was created exclusively for this collection. Micro-perforated pages tear away cleanly, and the durable, water-resistant cover folds 360 degrees for flexible writing. A sturdy cardboard backing and Sangriff safety treatment, which prevents the staples from protruding, add stability and comfort when writing by hand.

About Rhodia:

Rhodia started as a family business known as Verilhac Brothers in France around 1880. Their famous orange cover notepad was first made 1934. It was one of the first notebooks making the high quality paper widely available at the time. The Rhodia logos represents the founding brothers. They first made their notepad in Lyon by the Rhône river. People born in this region are called Rhodaniens, and hence the name of Rhodia.
