Platinum commemorates the 15th anniversary of its flagship #3776 Century with the introduction of the #3776 Century Ver. 2.0. This milestone release marks the most comprehensive redesign of the series to date, headlined by an enhanced "Slip and Seal Mechanism." The re-engineered airtight cap extends protection from two years to more than three, preventing ink from drying out and ensuring a smooth start even after long periods of non-use. The Demonstrator model makes this evolution visible, with printed inner cap components showcasing the improved seal in action.

The pen's internal architecture has also been refined from end to end. The interior of the barrel was redesigned to be flat, reducing reflections and improving ink visibility. A reinforced section with a new rubber ring enhances overall airtightness, and the grip section has been redesigned for added durability and greater comfort during extended writing. The 14K gold nib now features a sleeker Mt. Fuji engraving, and the cap top has been simplified, resulting in a cleaner, uninterrupted view throughout the transparent body.
