Pilot S10 Drafting Mechanical Pencil. The S Series Drafting mechanical pencils include S3, S5, S10, S20 and S30. The pencils in the S Series have the same body shape and compatible components. At higher lines in the S Series, the components are swapped with better materials and more sophisticated mechanism to provide a different design.

The S10 is often compared with S20. Both S10 and S20 share the same matte metallic tip as well as eraser cap. In additional to the matte metallic tip and cap, the most noticeable upgrade is the metallic grip. It's one of the longest mesh grip on a mechanical pencil. This metallic grip significantly adds weight to the body, creating a lower center of gravity for the pencil. The body comes in colorful plastic barrels, and the color is bright and the case is slick. Lead advance is precise and the pencil offers professional drafting use.
