Pelikan M405 Fountain Pen - Souverän - Black-Blue
Loved worldwide for decades, the design of the Souverän line is unique.
The warm blue and deep black of this fountain pen pairs beautifully with the palladium-plated accents. It's made of a high-grade resin, which takes months to perfect. Then, the plating is curved, cut and tailor-made. The characteristic double rings are then integrated into the cap and barrel with precision, polished until it reaches a brilliant luster.
The palladium-plated rings are delicately integrated into the pen, making the transition between the materials is almost seamless. The crown is the famous beak-like clip.
Every Souverän M405 fine writing instrument was crafted with the highest precision, mounted by hand and finally carefully checked. The writing qualities of every gold-nib were quality checked by hand before it comes to you.

About Pelikan:
Pelikan is a Germany company founded in 1838. The beginnings of the Pelikan Company trace back to the chemist Carl Hornemann, who made his customers an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and “farbige Dinten” (colored inks). These items formed the foundation of the brand's manufacturing line, including most notably the 4001 ink, which is still sold around the world to this day. Pelikan is recognized for their early integration of piston mechanisms into fountain pens, as well as the numbered naming system for their fountain pens such as the M200, M400, M600, M800, and M1000 series.
