Pelikan M1000 Fountain Pen - Souverän - Black
Part of the prestigious Souverän Collection—known for its exclusive design, premium materials, and exceptional writing comfort—the Pelikan M1000 is the flagship of the Souverän line. Larger than the M800 in both body and nib, it features a substantial weight, a high-capacity piston-filling system, and a two-tone 18k gold nib. As the heaviest and most premium model in the collection, it is crafted to meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
The M1000 Souverän Black is made from deep black, high-grade resin with a self-polishing finish that retains its glossy appearance over time. Gold-plated rings and the signature beak-shaped clip lend a refined, timeless elegance. A green-tinted ink view window offers a subtle yet functional detail, and the cap is topped with the iconic Pelikan emblem.

About Pelikan:
Pelikan is a Germany company founded in 1838. The beginnings of the Pelikan Company trace back to the chemist Carl Hornemann, who made his customers an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and “farbige Dinten” (colored inks). These items formed the foundation of the brand's manufacturing line, including most notably the 4001 ink, which is still sold around the world to this day. Pelikan is recognized for their early integration of piston mechanisms into fountain pens, as well as the numbered naming system for their fountain pens such as the M200, M400, M600, M800, and M1000 series.
