Patap Silicone Bookmarker
Winner of the 2025 Bungu Joshi Convenience Award, this clever silicone bookmark wowed stationery lovers with its smart, practical design. Clip it to the back cover of your book and the thin bookmark tab sits between the pages, moving forward each time you turn a page so you always know where to resume reading. It stays attached, never slips out, and keeps your spot automatically as you turn the page—no adjusting needed. Lightweight and transparent so it won’t get in the way, it also doubles as a small pen holder when clipped to a notebook, making it perfect for reading, studying, or journaling anywhere.
- Dimensions: 90 × 18 × 14 mm
- Materials: Silicone (marker), Steel (clip)
- Made in Japan
- Available in Clear, Clear Blue, and Clear Yellow
I like that this bookmark actually clips onto the book and you can even position it to the exact place on the page that you left off. There are metal book clips that are similar, but they can rip the page when you turn it if you're not careful. Since this clip is made of soft silicone, that doesn't happen.
Only cons are that it makes the book a lot thicker and I think it would be more likely to come open if you're carrying it in a bag than other types of bookmarks or clips would.
