MD Notebook by Midori, a Japanese company that has specialized in paper since 1960. Other than the small embossing of MD Paper, the notebook is simplistic and perhaps plain. Through this minimalistic design, Midori wants to emphasize the quality of the paper and the writing experience. 

MD Paper is highly regarded for its ability to provide a smooth writing experience, while also keeping some tooth of the paper texture to keep your writing grounded. Pens glide on MD paper, and the paper does not bleed, ghost, or feather. The touch and feel of the texture of the paper is unique and cannot be conveyed through pictures. It features MD Paper for both the pages and cover, opening perfectly without the awkwardness or wobbling that can occur when you add a cover. Wrapped in glassine paper, it adds a nostalgic touch while protecting against dirt. The thread-sewn binding allows it to open 180 degrees, lying flat for stress-free writing. Bound with cheesecloth for a classic feel, it includes index stickers with pre-printed and blank labels for easy organization.
