This pad has an original design with the pages glued along both the vertical and horizontal edges for a sturdy design, while simultaneously enabling freedom of orientation when writing. The pad can be used not only in the traditional upright format and also just as easily on its side, providing more options for writing

The pad is cut in one corner, so that you can grip just the right part of the paper when turning the page. The pages are unruled to provide total freedom when putting your ideas on paper, whether you’re writing or sketching.

MD Paper Cotton was developed in 2013, with cotton pulp used for 20% of the materials, giving it a soft, fuzzy texture. Cotton paper is also extremely durable and preservable, and has long enjoyed a reputation as high-quality paper in Europe, where it was used for important paperwork and official documents for centuries. Its fibers are longer and narrower than those of pulp, giving it a smooth, pleasing texture with a softness that feels like it is infused with air.

This cotton-soft white paper is ideal not only for classic fountain pens but for colored pencils too. This special version of MD Notebook is available only with blank pages, as a specialist art notebook.

Great for letters

Like many people, I started writing more letters after the pandemic began. I did a lot of thinking about which paper to buy, and whether to get letter sets. Since I was already a fan of MD paper, and blank paper too, I decided this was not only the most economical choice but also gave me a lot of creative freedom. I could customize each letter with different washi and stickers that I've been buying from Yoseka for a while. And honestly I really like the cut off corner. It's a nice touch, and makes the whole paper look a little more interesting than if it was just a plain rectangle
