Guardian Beasts refer to the loyal protectors often seen in Taiwanese traditional beliefs. Some guard temples, others preserve history, some calm strong winds, and others have served under different religious beliefs. These guardian beasts silently safeguard people across Taiwan.

Komainu (guardian lion statue): In the past, many shrines were established in Taiwan, but after the departure of the Japanese government, these shrines gradually declined and were converted into temples. However, many Komainu statues remained, quietly residing in the newly transformed temple grounds, continuing to protect the people of Taiwan.

About Lennon Tool Bar:
Lennon Tool Bar was founded in 2014 at Tamsui, Taiwan. Initially, it started to promote arts and crafts of Indigo Dyeing, a business that flourished a century ago in Taiwan, and at the time, Taiwan exported a considerable amount of "doroai," or the raw material of colorants used in Indigo Dyeing, to the Japanese Empire. Lennon Tool Bar draws inspiration from the traditional process and the popular colors used in Indigo Dyeing.

Beautiful but not functional

I really wanted to try this ink because I thought it was a beautiful color however there are little to no reviews on practically any platform. I decided to take the plung since there are no reviews and tell people how it is.

1. It is an absolutely beautiful color that matches the swatch in the photos.
2. If you don't use anything other than a broad nib and up you won't see it because it practically blends into the paper, especially white paper. Due to that I wouldn't recommend trying to use this as a sketching color either.

4. It has a bit of a shading quality but it's still practically unseeable.

I do think that this ink is worth it if you plan to mix it with something darker and make your own color however, be careful because the ink is so light that even a drop can overpower the color. Like I said, it's a beautiful color but because of its little to no functionality I have to give this a low rating.
