Lennon Tool Bar - Atmospheric Color Inks are waterproof inks inspired by the beautiful natural colors of various atmospheric phenomena of Taiwan. This color, Twilight, is named after the deep and gloomy purple that envelopes the sky in the moments after the sun sets below the horizon.

About Lennon Tool Bar:
Lennon Tool Bar was founded in 2014 at Tamsui, Taiwan. Initially, it started to promote arts and crafts of Indigo Dyeing, a business that flourished a century ago in Taiwan, and at the time, Taiwan exported a considerable amount of "doroai," or the raw material of colorants used in Indigo Dyeing, to the Japanese Empire. Lennon Tool Bar draws inspiration from the traditional process and the popular colors used in Indigo Dyeing.

Wonderful for Art!

I am loving Lennon Tool Bar. This ink is a beauty for creating ink and watercolor sketches and I'm sure it would be great for writing too.

The color is slightly purple leaning but not so much so that it competes with any watercolors you add over top. It's neutral with some character! And quite waterproof almost immediately.

I love pigmented fountain pen inks. For my use they are superior to waterproof acrylic and shellac inks. Besides the ability to be used in fountain pens if desired, they have another benefit. Unlike those other inks, these are waterproof because the pigments are nano-particalized (made very tiny to sink deep down into the paper, beneath the reach of the water). There is no sticky binder that will ruin a brush if you forget to clean it right away!
