We like to think of the LAMY Lx (pronounced “luxe”) line of fountain pens as an upgraded version of their very well-known counterpart, the LAMY Safari. Although they are largely identical in size and appearance, the many subtle upgrades on the LAMY Lx add up to a fountain pen that is, overall, sleeker and more elegant. The LAMY Safari's resin body is replaced with lightweight aluminum, while matching anodized aluminum clips and refined details give each LAMY Lx a more sophisticated finish. The translucent grey triangular grip section offers a glimpse of the pen’s inner workings, while the black glossy interchangeable steel nib completes its elegant design.
