My first intentional fountainpen purchase, and I'm in love. The writing is so smooth with the fine nib, and the weight and structure of it feels very reassuring in my hand. I use this pen for everyday tasks and for journaling, and I don't get any fatigue from the weight. I like the small detail of the stainless steel clip on the cap, as well as the small pleasure I get from the cap connecting to the end of the pen when writing. It was relatively affordable, as fountain pens go. It comes with two cartridge things, one filled with blue and the other empty for a color of your choice.
This pen have the same size as a regular wooden pencil. So this is great if you prefer a pen that size. The body is durable and the design is classic bauhaus. No complaints there!
I both have this and the Lamy Aion. Whenever I want to write for a long time with a wider grip, I reach for the Aion. Whenever I want to write short notes, I reach for the CP-1.
Be careful, though, as I bought an EF but the line is practically the same as the F. I've tried 3 different EF nibs and the result is the same. So don't expect a very fine line.
