Kyo No Oto (which translates to “sounds of Kyoto”) fountain pen inks are a collection of ink colors that were created in order to reproduce the traditional Japanese colors of the Heian period.

    Subtle shimmer - nice ink!

    This is another nice ink from Kyoto. The base colour is a bluish grey and has fine particle multicoloured shimmer. The shimmer mixes really readily in the cartridge so it only takes a few light inversions of the pen to mix it up. The resulting lines have some shading but the cool blue-grey base with the noticeable shimmer really makes for a very usable and pleasant ink.
