The latest Kuru Toga Dive Mechanical Pencil has successfully brought the writing experience of mechanical pencils to a revolutionary level. Inherited the automatically rotating and sliding sleeve mechanism from the Kuru Toga series, you won't have to click the lead out while writing. The built-in mechanism will gradually rotate and propel the pencil lead each time you lift the pencil up from the paper, preventing a slanted edge from forming and inconsistent thicknesses in your writing. In other words, the Kuru Toga Dive grants a persistent writing experience without the interrupting action of clicking your mechanical pencil.
The Kuru Toga Dive is also the world's first pencil to provide up to five adjustable levels for pencil lead extension. Simply twist the silver section of the pencil tip and it will adjust the length of lead propelled each time, allowing this feature to fit your writing habit even better. Adjust the length to a level you prefer and the Kuru Toda sliding sleeve feature will allow you to keep writing with your pencil without having to click the lead out.
A transparent window in the grip section of the pencil allows you to track the Kuru Toga logo, a circular loop, and see it moving around the circumference of the pencil as you write--we love watching the loop make its way around and come back!
This mechanical pencil also comes with a unique cap type design. When removing the cap, the lead will automatically extend to your preset lead length. Since this mechanical pencil is designed to routinely extend the lead, feel free to cap your Kuru Toga Dive while you write!

First mechanical pencil I’ve tried that has me seriously considering using this all the time instead of my pencil pouch full of Blackwings. Lured by the idea of simplicity using one tool (Dive) for all my pencil needs: no sharpening, always same convenient size, and finally a mech pencil with the combination of features (lead point control, rotating, easy cap, posted prevents accidental lead advancement, etc.). Near perfect, and may grab another color when they’re back in stock.
