Kuretake Karappo Pen was created to go with Kuretake's "Ink Cafe", a set of mixable basic ink colors that can be used to customize your own color. Each Karappo pen comes with an empty core. To use, simply dip the core inside your favorite ink color, wait until the ink soaks up the core, place the core inside the pen, plug the pen with the provided seal, and your Karappo Pen will now write with your favorite ink color!

  • Note that once the ink runs out, the seal in the back of the pen can be removed to refill the core

Easy Way to Use Your Favorite Fountain Inks!

I had to buy these immediately after seeing them featured on Yoseka's IG stories! I wanted an easier way for me to use my fountain pen inks instead of constantly swapping out and cleaning in between uses of my one fountain pen.

The writing experience is really great. The nib is stiff and maintains its shape while writing. It doesn't have much line-weight variance while drawing which makes it ideal for line drawings or writing.

The best part is when you first assign a color to the pen because you get to see the white sponge soak up all of that awesome fountain pen ink! :)
