First of all, the paper is SO NICE! Every so often, I find myself brushing my fingers across it absent-mindedly because it feels so smooth and pleasant.
As far as the layout, I love having enough space on each two-page weekly spread to see each day's full 24 hours, while still having room for my to-do lists. I've ended up writing over the squares below each day with daily task lists that are not time-dependent, so I wish there was more blank space rather than having nearly every line of the page filled with text or icons I don't use. Similarly, the Japanese text (which I cannot read) gets in my way because writing space is at a premium.
I'm very pleased that I followed other users' recommendation to use erasable pens and highlighters; I often change my plans or simply fail to write small enough the first time, so erasable ink is key to maintaining my sanity. I use the Pilot Frixion series: Highlighters in various colors for different calendars, and their smallest-tip black pen (0.38 mm) to write the entries.
While I enjoy the very high quality of this product, I'm uncertain that I would buy it again because I find many of the page sections and charts irrelevant. But since it's only my first week using this planner, it's likely my opinions could change throughout the year.
