Perkeo Fountain Pen - Breezy Teal. Kaweco's Perkeo fountain pen is a great starter fountain pen for anyone who prefers a full sized pen with a lightweight barrel. The triangular grip section allows the pen to rest comfortably in your hand while writing, and the snap-on cap can either be posted to the back of the pen or not posted. The signature octagonal Kaweco shape is found on the Perkeo's cap and ensures that the pen will not roll around when placed down on a desk.

About Kaweco:
Kaweco is a manufacturer of writing instruments based in Heidelberg, Germany. It was founded in 1883 as Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik and later renamed to Kaweco. Kaweco has a long history of making dipping pens, pocket-sized fountain pens, fountain pens and nibs.
This is my second Kaweco Perkeo and I may even pick up a third. I feel this model is underrated. It absolutely holds its own against other budget-friendly pens like TWSBI, entry-level Pilot (Metropolitan, Explorer) and the Lamy Safari. (In fact the Perkeo is substantially less expensive than almost all of those except for the TWSBI Go.) I wasn’t crazy about some of the original mix-and-and-match color ways, but the all black and the teal are really nice.
This pen is light, a good “average” size and best of all a fabulous writer. I popped in the included cartridge and the medium nib wrote perfectly straight away. I believe their nibs are by Bock.
Another plus for me is that this is a snap cap. I use this pen for meeting notes so it’s nice not to have to unscrew the cap constantly. There’s no clip, which may be a downside for some people, but I do like that it’s faceted so it won’t roll of your desk.
Cons? Well I could see how some might think it’s TOO light. And a strange thing happened to me: Kaweco includes an ink cartridge and an empty “spacer” cartridge to fill up the empty barrel space. That empty cartridge became stuck in the barrel and I had to use tweezers to remove it. 🤷♂️
All of that said, I recommend the Kaweco Perkeo as an inexpensive, great-writing knockabout pen.
