Nagasawa is based in Kobe, Japan, and was founded in 1882. The colors of Kobe Ink originate from the vibrant views found around the beautiful city of Kobe, capturing its regional characteristics, aspects, and environments. Use Kobe Ink to evoke happy feelings and the magical qualities of Kobe when writing letters to friends.

Our ink samples will come in these tiny adorable glass bottles. They can hold up to 5ml, and you can pick either 3ml or 5ml of each color.

These bottles are meant to be reusable. You can return your 10 empty bottles to us, and your next sample ink will be on us.

Please note that orders containing ink samples may require an extra 2-3 days time as we make our ink samples to order.

    Perfect size tester bottle.

    I received my Kobe tester bottles today. The 3ML bottles are the perfect amount to swatch. I got at the very least a good swatch & description & a full fill in my Ferris Wheel Press pen with some left to spare. As I try to stay on a budget I always order just a few things each month & each & every time the order has been well packed & arrives in a super timely matter.

    If you like dark almost black purples in a great formula, then this is for you. Unfortunately,I was hoping for something that looked more like the pictures on the website.

    Love this color! It’s bright but not too bright. Just makes me happy when I use it. Currently have it in a medium nib sailor pro gear slim, but I can’t wait to try it in a broad!
