Ink Sample - Lennon Tool Bar -  2022 Spring Limited

Lennon Tool Bar was founded in 2014 at Tamsui, Taiwan. Initially, it started to promote arts and crafts of Indigo Dyeing, a business that flourished a century ago in Taiwan, and at the time, Taiwan exported a considerable amount of "doroai," or the raw material of colorants used in Indigo Dyeing, to the Japanese Empire. Lennon Tool Bar draws inspiration from the traditional process and the popular colors used in Indigo Dyeing.

Regular Lennon Tool Bar 2022 Spring Limited Ink bottles:

Our ink samples will come in these tiny adorable glass bottles. They can hold up to 5ml, and you can pick either 3ml or 5ml of each color.

These bottles are meant to be reusable. You can return your 10 empty bottles to us, and your next sample ink will be on us.

Please note that orders containing ink samples may require an extra 2-3 days time as we make our ink samples to order.

    Tested on hobonichi paper. Sad to see this is a limited color because it performed great in my test. I was able to get some of the very dark tones like in the ink drops by coloring an area with multiple layers. The blue/Grey tone reminds me of stormy days. This ink was a joy to work with.

    Tested on hobonichi paper. This ink flowed smoothly reminded me color wise of Diamine Blue's Mulled wine. Wasn't able to achieve the darker hue that sample shows in the ink drops, but the main color seemed to match well.
