- Ink Institute describes this ink color as dark purple blue with red sheen
Ink Institute is a line of inks made by the Taiwanese stationery store, Juspirit in Taipei. They produce inks that are easy to clean and beautiful on paper. We love their ink collections which include a tribute to the Taipei Metro subway line, Exotic Plants and the super fun Cat Daily collection.
"Ink Institute describes this ink color as dark purple blue with red sheen."
I have to say I can't see any of those characteristics in this ink. It's quite dark, almost black, with green cast to it in some spots. I get no sheen from this ink, even on Tomoe River.
There's nothing wrong with the color in and of itself, but the manufacturer's color description is not accurate to me.
This ink is such a fun and unique addition to my collection. I love the hints of blue and red that form this complex purple ink!! Thank you Yoseka for always offering the most unique items around!
