Inspired by Virginia Lee Burton’s beloved picture book The Little House, this cover features a front and spine in the same clear sky blue as the original cover. Inside, a mint green interior complements a right-side pocket illustrated with a spring scene of children playing among blooming apple blossoms. Equipped with “butterfly stopper” pen holders, it also serves as a clasp to keep the cover securely closed.
This cover will comfortably fit A5 notebooks with a spine of 0.5 inches (1.27cm) or smaller. Though it has the capacity to fit spines larger than 0.5in, the cover might have a tighter fit. About Virginia Lee Burton:
Virginia Lee Burton was born in Massachusetts, USA, and was a celebrated children’s book author, illustrator, and textile designer based in Gloucester, where she lived with her family in Folly Cove. Her 1942 book The Little House won the Caldecott Medal, and she also created other beloved titles, including Choo Choo, Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel, and Katy and the Big Snow. She was also active in the textile and graphic arts.
