The Lx version of the DelGuard has a metal grip section, making it heavier than its plastic-bodied counterpart; the extra weight gently encourages the tip of the pencil down towards the paper when you hold it in hand. Overall, the Lx has an upgraded and sleeker look than the plastic DelGuard.
