Heisuke Kitazawa is a Japanese illustrator who, after spending 16 years in the United States, returned to Japan to begin his career. His work spans book covers, confectionery packaging for Francais, and menu illustrations for brands like Afternoon Tea and Coco’s, with published titles including Unicorn Letter Story (Shueisha) and The Cat with the Too-Long Whiskers (Kodansha). Known for his soft, gentle lines and charming characters, his illustrations feel both familiar and heartwarming. 

 

    About Cozyca:

    Cozyca was started in 2013 by the well-established stationery company, Hyogensha, which was founded in 1948. Cozyca was launched to promote the works of independent artists and inspire writers through the production of beautiful stationery that depicts the view from the different artists' worlds. In Kyoto, Cozyca's store "Hiraeth" displays all the artist collaboration stationery designs they have produced, as well as exhibits different artists' works in their gallery on the top floor.
