Eric Carle (1929–2021) was an American author, illustrator, and designer best known for creating picture books for young children. He wrote and illustrated more than 70 books, many of which have become classics. His most famous work is The Very Hungry Caterpillar (1969), which has sold over 50 million copies worldwide and has been translated into dozens of languages.
About Cozyca:
Cozyca was started in 2013 by the well-established stationery company, Hyogensha, which was founded in 1948. Cozyca was launched to promote the works of independent artists and inspire writers through the production of beautiful stationery that depicts the view from the different artists' worlds. In Kyoto, Cozyca's store "Hiraeth" displays all the artist collaboration stationery designs they have produced, as well as exhibits different artists' works in their gallery on the top floor.
