CDT A5 Notepad is a collaboration between Craft Design Technology and Life Stationery, a maker of many fine notebooks, paper and stationery in Japan. This notepad is a modern and refined take on the classic stationery staple of the legal pad. A mint green 3mm grid pattern can be found on each page of smooth cream colored paper in a color that is just bright enough to be seen without being too bold that it interrupts your flow. We love the sturdy construction of this notepad, which allows it to stay neatly on your desk and its hard cardboard backing that helps it retain its shape even when you are holding it up for note taking on the go. Each page is perforated so you can remove unwanted pages quickly and cleanly.

Subtle perfection from CDT

For how rare these seem to be nowadays this pad is the best of its kind hands down. The paper itself is smooth and hardy, handling fountain pens and markers with little bleed, as well as allowing ink sheen and textures. The color is the CDT staple, so easy on the eyes and with a lovely aesthetic of its own. The small grid size allows a large work area and the perforation is smooth easily torn off.

If you can get your hands on it, it is definitely worth it.
