"The seasons move quickly, and in Hokkaido it gets dark by 5 p.m. The darkness of October nights is said to be the same all year, but somehow October feels different—thick snow accumulates and turns into silvery white nights, making it the darkest time of the year. The clear sky is unlike summer, with stars and the moon shining brightly. Stars, rarely visible in Sapporo, look as if they’re falling when you step a little farther away, and the starry sky spreads wide in both hands. If you gaze long enough, you can see clouds, distant city lights, and subtle shades of light emerging from the deep darkness. You forget the cold as you walk, looking up at the night sky. The twinkling stars and glowing light create beautiful colors. This is my favorite masking tape."-by creator Yohaku
