I love CHECK&STRIPE, and this year I had the honor of designing for their Winter Gift collection once again. Visiting their Kobe shop for the first time during the Paper Expo reminded me of my sewing days before I became absorbed in paper goods—waiting eagerly for online releases and cherishing each fabric find. Winter Gift has become a treasured project that closes the year, and this time I created a masking tape and tracing paper sticky note roll using fabrics like Natural Work Cotton Stripe, Bonbon Flower, Petit Ronde Lace, and Papier Pin Check. While CHECK&STRIPE’s colorful fabrics are always delightful to browse, I was once again drawn to my beloved blues, resulting in a chic, mature masking tape that evokes snowy night scenes, quiet walks, and the gentle piling of snow flowers. – by creator Yohaku

About Yohaku:
