The Tono & Lims Sendai Special 2023 collection is a commemorative special series created for the pen show "A Space Walk" that occurred in Fall 2023 in Sendai. The ink colors in this collection are inspired by the festival or exclusive events happening in Sendai during the four seasons. 

Aoba represents the Aoba Festival in spring that commemorates a historical general; while Tanabata in Sendai is one of the largest and most famous summer celebrations in Japan; Jazz symbolizes the Street Jazz Festival that gathers music lovers every September; and Pageant of Starlight is one of Japan's biggest winter illumination displays.

Tono & Lims was founded by Takashi Ono, a dedicated fountain pen enthusiast, in partnership with Lim's Lab, an ink producer based in South Korea. This renowned brand from Japan offers a diverse range of fountain pen inks, including standard, shimmer, pigmented, and fluorescent varieties, making it a favorite among pen enthusiasts worldwide.
